The Aimpoint CompM4is the latest version of the US Army's M68 CCO (Close Combat Optic) andis capable of withstanding the roughest combat environments. We thoughtit needed a QD mounting base that matched its exceptional durability,so we developed the GG&G Aimpoint CompM4 Accucam Quick DetachMounting Base. This mount provides a degree of tactical flexibilityhighly valued in urban combat. The Aimpoint CompM4 Accucam Quick DetachMounting Base allows the end user to quickly switch between optics andstill maintain ""on target"" repeatability. TheAimpoint CompM4 is a rugged optic, however if by chance it should fail,by using the Accucam the end user can quickly remove it and deploy theweapons back up iron sight. By using the Aimpoint CompM4 Accucam QDMounting Base, the optic can quickly be installed on a dovetail rail byrotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the locked position. It can then bequickly removed by rotating the Accucam Cam Lever to the unlockedposition. The unique cam design is fully adjustable to fit both Weaverand MIL-STD-1913 dovetails, and allows you to adjust the tension toaccommodate out-of-spec or worn dovetails. In tests, the AccucamLocking Lever System has shown to be repeatable to 1/2 MOA. The uniquefinger loop design is easily operated, even with a gloved hand and therounded design is ergonomic and virtually snag-proof. The new GG&GAimpoint CompM4 Accucam Quick Detach Mounting Base is manufactured fromsolid billet 6061 T6 aluminum alloy and Type III hard-coat anodizedmatte black to meet mil-spec. The Accucam mechanism is manufacturedfrom solid billet 4140 steel and manganese phosphated matte black tomil-spec.
