There is little doubt that weapon mounted tactical flashlights are an all important accessory for urban combat. GG&G manufactures twelve different tactical flashlight adapters for various weapon systems. There is also little doubt that the HK USP handgun is one of the ten best handguns manufactured. Unfortunately, HK chose to manufacture the dust cover integral mounting rail to only accept the URL flashlight. Besides being very expensive, large and heavy, the URL lacks the flexibility to be mounted to other weapon systems. For over a year we have manufactured our M3/M6 adapter for the USP. During that time our customers have asked us to try to reduce the overall size of our adapter. Our highly regarded design engineering staff listened to that request and developed an innovative and clever mount to interface the M3/M6 with the USP Standard and Compact handguns in a smaller, and lighter package. As can be seen in the photographs, the GG&G Slim Line USP M3/M6 Adapter is a much smaller mount, but still fits tightly to the USP trigger guard allowing the M3/M6 rear rocker switch to be activated by the fire control finger or the thumb of the off hand. The Slim Line USP M3/M6 Adapter is available for the full size, and compact USP handguns in 9mm, .40 and .45 calibers. The GG&G Slim Line USP M3/M6 Adapter consists of a three piece lightweight aluminum adapter that easily clamps over the existing USP light rails. The installation only requires a small wrench, included in the package. The rail fits tight enough to retain zero of the M6 laser. The GG&G Slim Line USP M3/M6 Adapter is machined from 6061 T6 aircraft-grade aluminum alloy using modern CNC machinery. It is then hard-coat anodized matte black per mil spec.
