This ring is built solid to with stand the rigors of combat.  It is attached to the base by using a squeeze rail design incorporating a single elliptical thumbnut. There is also a square locking cross bar for recoil control.  The ring body has a built-in insulated spare battery compartment with a spare battery cap.  This is an important feature and it's located on the side of the ring for easy access. Our ring is extra wide so that only one is required.  In order to co-witness with a back up iron sight and the fronts sight, the low-profile GG&G Standard Comp M Series Ring must be mounted on our Scout length FIRE system rail.
